June Yun, Head Director

Before opening Little Picasso, June Yun previously taught as an art instructor in the Fairfax County Public School system. She received a Masters Degree in Art Education from the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree from Ewha University in Seoul, South Korea. She has annual exhibitions worldwide and speaks for Art for Ladies Cancer Awareness.


Maryam Rassapour, Portfolio Prep Instructor

Maryam Rassapour is a Graphic Designer, Visual Artist and an Art Teacher. She received a B.F.A/ M.F.A in Graphic Design from Azad University in Tehran, Iran. Her work is principally based on mixed media and her own unique techniques influenced by her Iranian culture. Maryam’s work is inspired by reflection of the ordinary life around her, and her own life journey in Iran and the U.S.A.


Carol Hahn, Junior Prep Instructor

A native of Virginia, Carol holds an MFA in painting and printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her work is playful and vivid and draws inspiration from her surroundings and travels. Carol is a recipient of a graduate fellowship from The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.


Alicia Lurie, Little Picasso Instructor

Alicia holds a BFA in painting from Christopher Newport University. She works mainly in oils creating abstract scenes based upon her interactions with her visual and aural environments. She is currently working towards obtaining her Masters in Art Education and becoming an art teacher in the future.
